Hi guys - can anyone tell me whether this is the original expander or the improved one? I need to order a new one anyway (have marred the topcap being clumsy while tightening it) and want to make sure I get the improved one.

Thank you! Interestingly, I trimmed down my steerer and haven't (touch wood) had any problems with loose headset since. Previously I had 20mm above the steerer but have now trimmed it to flush as I'm happy with the stem height and it seems, so far, to have eliminated the problem of the headset loosening.

Does anybody have any good real-world pictures of the Chameleon color, or can at least describe how (if?) the color looks/changes in various lights?

I've sold my white pro team one and have one in chameleon ordered. From what I've seen on Instagram it's closer to a metallic green transition to purple under regular lighting than the silverish pink on the look website.

I'm not too sure if these links are allowed

The colors seem to drastically vary depending on the surrounding light

Does anyone have a photo of the spacers / headtube / steerertube with the stem off on the Blade RS? Trying to work out what stems / integrated bars might work to hide the cables without using the very heavy Look stem ... or is it not possible?

You could possibly use something like the Vision all in one handlebars with ACR routing, the fork fits inside regular stems. I think you would need to 3D print some shims and a dust cap/spacer to fit it though. I've attached a picture of a spare spacer I had laying around overlaying a regular stem below.

Might be a bit dangerous - talking about steering... - or at least problematic with regard to a probably regularly loosening headset.
For what? 50g-100g?
If you want to save weight - better invest in wheels, tubes (Schwalbe Aerothan for example), handlebar (MCFK Aero for example) or disc brakes (Carbon TI, Trickstuff...), saddle,...
- just my 2 cents :)

I use this one (with a Shimano Adapter Lock Ring, since the Shimano Lock Ring is thinner*) without problems

(However the Blade Frame would also have enough space for other Lock Rings - Zipp for example)

AFAIK the Look stem is ~300g without spacers ... or have I been wrongly informed?

Wish everyone did it the Trek / Cannondale way so you could just feed cables into the gap at the front. So much simpler and more flexible.

Anyway it's not just about weight. It's about fit. No opportunity to tailor stem angle or length further if you can't go third party.
