Got told to expect a major update or replacement for 795 RS for MY23. They specified RS specifically, so I don't know if that means they're leaving the non-RS as is again. Regardless, I think they'd sell plenty of non RS framesets if they sold them at around €2k. But maybe they don't have capacity.

Interesting.

Anyone know the headset bearing spec?

Is it 52x40x7 35/46deg angular contact bearing?

Do you have a photo with the steerer top cap off? How did you fill in the gap? Is this safe?

Nice! You think the bike would work with a Deda DCR headset or the FSA ACR headset?

I don’t think those will work because the shape of the fork tube is oval, not round.

Got mine last weekend. It is a S in chameleon. Weight out of the box (but including Campagnolo BB386) 1173gr. Didn't weigh the BB but is should be around 40 grams. the bottlecagebolts are 5 grams. Furthermore the liners for guidance are in the frame but those should not weigh a lot.

Fork uncut is 413gr.

Going to build the bike with 12spd Record disc and Bora WTO45 wheels. I hope to end up around 7500gr for a complete bike without accessoires (computermount / pedals etc.). So the complete build (in rideable condition with computer etc.) will be around 7800 / 7900gr

^ token has a campy BB for BB386 shell.

You should be within target weight.

Delivery time for the Token BB for Campa was 2023 according to the dealer. Therefore I opted to go Campa since I'm going to use a Record crank.

So, the box says 'made in Taiwan'. I can't figure out (reading bar codes) where it was made. Does anyone know where these frames are made?

They may have changed how they manufactured the frames and by extension where...iirc they went from a layup/resin process to EPS moulding.

Once it accepts registration for warranty, would not worry about it.

795 Blade RS ’22 & '21 are all made in Taiwan. Unsure of other stuff.

Also joins on that steerer look at best very messy.
