Looking at a new frame as I want a bit more relaxed fit. Is it as simple as getting something w/a shorter TT; maybe 10-15mm? Or, is it more a combo of HT, TT & angles? I currently have a TCR Advanced SL (L) and am looking at a F10 disc (595). When I am on the TCR and riding on the tops; I am OK; but when I am on the hoods its too stretched.

Get frame w/shorter TT and bigger HT, just shorter TT?

The Giant has a PRO PLT 120mm stem flipped (10d), integrated HS cap (15mm) and 30mm spacers. Other specs:
BB cc to saddle top: 815
Saddle tip to center of bar: 600
Saddle tip to center of steerer; 485

Here are the two frame specs:
The TCR:
Head Angle 73°
Seat Angle72°
Top Tube 58.5
HT: 185
Reach 406 (measured by me)
Stack 590 (measured by me)

F10 disc 595
Head angle 73.4
Seat angle 72.4
TT 587
HT 215
Reach: 394
Stack: 612

Seems maybe the F10 would need ~100 stem to give me the needed fit? Or, simply too long of a TT?

What is your handbar reach? I went from 93mm reach bars to 80mm reach and it was a lot more comfortable.

I would experiment on the current bike before buying a new frame. You could try a shorter stem. You could try a 90 degree stem which would give you less drop and a shorter reach.

It's hard to know whether you want less reach or less total stack until you try it.

Bars come with even shorter reach. Ritchey’s Neoclassic curve bars have a 73mm reach. Might be enough to keep your tops where they are but provide more comfort on the hoods.

Good tip.

It seems the shifters keep getting bigger & longer with every new version.

I also like them because I can run a longer stem (110mm vs. 100mm) which gains me extra knee clearance when climbing out of the saddle.
