Ok....I just found out that I could remove the lever from the thru-axle. Weight saving: 27g

DT Swiss?

I haven’t used their TA with the removable handle yet. But, I’ll probably go that route on the disc road bike I’m planning. Assuming the same handle works on both front and rear, seems like a great place to save some weight without having to carry a 5mm or 6mm wrench.

Yepp the lever works for front and rear.
I will not carry it as I have a multitool anyway with me.
