Love your build. I think I saw earlier you'd switched form the rim brake version to the diac.? I have a Sagan edition Rim brake that I love but been toying with getting a disc frameset. How does the disc version compare ride wise? Also the geometry is a bit taller, is that noticeable? Cheers
I feel like the disc version is a bit stiffer, but I'm not able to provide anything beyond opinions.
I use this bike for <3 hour fast rides, and I have an S-Works Roubaix for anything where I think comfort might be preferred over speed.
I haven't noticed the slightly different geometry. I sometimes wish I would have gotten the 52, but that was the same with my rim brake bike too.

So just picked up a 2020 Sagan Overexposed and planning to put Ultegra DI2. I noticed the two ports under the bottom bracket for the brake line and shift cable - is there any grommet that come with the frame? Especially for the the mechanical cable port since I’m using DI2. I didn’t see any that came with the frame.

It should come with the praxis snap rings and bearings. No dust cover as far as I know.

I’m hoping to get sizing advice on the Allez Sprint disc. I may have the chance to get a discounted size 52 frame. I’m approx 167cm/5’ 6” tall and inseam is 77cm/30”. I currently ride a Defy (size Small) using a shortish stem, either 80 or 90mm.

The reach is slightly longer on a 52 sprint, but the top tube length is almost the same. Stack is much lower though, almost 3cm.

A 49 seems to low at the front and I think the 54 would be too long and Standover height may be too tall. Has anyone else with a similar height and inseam gone with the 52?

I had to go down to a 49 with a 100mm stem because the reach was too long on the Allez Sprint. I ride a Wilier Cento10Air in a small as well with a 90mm stem and my fitter said the Allez Sprint in 52 would be too big. Also the amount of seatpost exposed wouldn’t be a lot less with the 52 vs a 49.

Thanks for this. That’s interesting because I had a look at the geometry on the Willier and the reach and stack look roughly the same as the Sprint in a 52?

I’m not sure I could deal with the drop on a 49. The stack difference between a Small Defy and 49 is almost 4cm

Don't adjust your position according to frame stack.
Adjust the set-up to fit your position instead.

Does the old bike have -17 degree stem? If so change to +6 degree stem bring it up by nearly 4cm with no spacer changed. But positive angle stem look a little wonky though. I'm 169cm and use 49. I'd happily use 52 too with steeper stem angle. On 49, I use -10 stem, if I use 52, I'd just use -17 degree stem. I wouldn't even change stem length because the reach difference between 49 and 52 is only 5mm.

Here are quick list of bar height related to stem angle (length=100mm)
Assuming -17 degree is the reference point:
-12 degree is 9mm taller
-10 degree is 12mm taller
-6 degree is 19mm taller (and 1mm shorter reach)
0 degree is 29mm taller (and 4mm shorter reach)
+6 degree is 39mm taller (and 8mm shorter reach)
