Thanks Rich. Any pics of the other colours?

Pricing on 2019 model is ridiculous www.specialized.com/us/en/allez-sprint- ... 317-154235. They want $2200? Is this even Di2 compatible or we have to drill it? They couldn't even include Shimano 105 crank? Have to settle on cheaper Praxis Zayante.
For $500 more you can pick up Tarmac Sport with better cable routing, lighter and threaded BB (best part) www.specialized.com/us/en/mens-tarmac-d ... 501-154556

I love the paint jobs! Wait, another price hike to $1500? www.specialized.com/us/en/allez-sprint- ... 208-154239
No thanks, for $200 more I'll take TCR Advanced Pro www.giant-bicycles.com/us/tcr-advanced- ... meset-2019

Why did they carry over this hot mess cable routing?

It does look pretty cool. Not sure I’d go mint as a contrasting colour but that could be changed if one really wanted to.

I agree but at least they’re now Di2 compatible (according to Velofix bike shop and you can just see it on the photo that I posted above) so no one have to drill their frames anymore.

Looks like the routing is a bit different. The old frame had the cable exiting in front of the BB. This looks to have it behind/underneath the BB.

Since mpulsiv loves quoting Tour, he must be aware that the TCR is among the slowest frames tested in their aero test. I bet the lighter TCR is slower up shallow to medium grade climbs (say up to 7%) than the Allez with the same component spec.

The price is too damn high!... compared to last year, but they are far more complicated paint jobs and they keep selling out. For $600 more than a Emonda or used DSW frame, not sure the paint and aero seatpost are worth it. Though that seatpost is worth 1min over 3hours of riding according to Tour, which I also love.
For $2200, not sure why they didn’t go 32mm deep Swiss wheels on the builds for this bike other than they put the r470 on everything else. I’d fit the look and audience without any unit cost (at the expense of inventory cost and weight).

I don’t agree that the base Tarmac is better aside from ride as the sprint isn’t optimized for that. The B.B. is an issue as well as the paint job. The B.B. can be addressed with a threaded shell ($60)

Cable routing - there probably isn’t enough room in the lower stay for internal routing, but it does look cheap. They should have gone top tube for the RD.
