Very nice. I have the red/blue version but this colorway is super cool.

How does the Allez Sprint Disc ride like or how does it feel? Can you compare with your other bikes?

Angry is probably the best way to describe it. Fast handling and fun.

Really tempted to pick up one of these framesets to build up as my main bike. Would be going from a Focus Izalco Max disc back to aluminum. Does that seem crazy? Anyone else switched to aluminum from carbon want to chime in with their experience?
What tyre and size did you use on that new wide light bicycle rim? Do you mind measuring the inflated tyre width? Thinking to get it but worrying about the frame clearance. Thanks!Hexsense wrote:Right, LB 56mm deep, 30mm external width, 23mm internal width. https://www.lightbicycle.com/Road-bicyc ... lable.htmlmoyboy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 5:47 pmLight Bicycle

ps. saddle move forward by 3mm, seatpost raised by 9mm and 2.5mm headset spacer added after photo taken. Position shown in the picture feel a bit off for me.
Didn't remeasure today but i measured then a month ago.
Front: Continental GP Force III 25c -> 30.1 mm old and stretched, fork have more than 1cm clearance on each side! it's plenty large clearance there.
Rear: Continental GP5000 28c -> 30.15 mm new (should have expanded to about 30.4mm by now)
Rear clearance also have more than 7mm on each side by the look of it (didn't actually measure). But rear tire is no where close to touch chain stay or seat stay. Plenty of clearance to try 30c or 32c that will measure 35mm.
Minor note is that there is a difference between actually wide tire and tire widen because of wide rim. Actual wide tire on narrow rim is also tall. Tire widen by rim doesn't gain much if any of the height.
Figure from Silca, showing 25c on 15mm rim narrower but taller than 23c on 19.5mm rim width.
Silca SpeedBalance counter weight. I use latex tube (which have a lot of overlap near valve where they connect the loop) and also valve extender. Bike shake a lot when the wheel spinning on bike workstand. So i counter balance them. It may or may not do anything to contribute in real world high speed bike handling. I just have it in place anyway.
Picked up my CLX64’s with DT 54T ratchet hub upfit yesterday. The stock hubs that came on the complete bike were really sloppy and inconsistent on engagement for harder rides where you’re on and off the power hard. I installed my Turbo SWorks 28C tubeless tires on the Rovals that measure out to 30.5mm wide @ 85psi. The ride is so nice on this thing I love it.
Completed my retul fit last week and it’s dialed in real nice. Very comfy ride.
