Has anyone looked into 2019 TCR pro?
Giant listed the frame for $1500. That’s a steal!

Looks like they have done away with the SL in rim brake completely..... so if u want rim, u gotta go a step down.

Not true. Not only did they bring it back, they lowered the price.

As usual Aussies get screwed with product availability AND pricing. Not available here.

Quintana was using during TdF a new one piece aerocockpit CP10. It might be part of a new Ultimate? But I am not sure what would be the incentive for him to use them as weight is not important as he is for sure having at least half a kilo of lead in the down tube.
Hard to say what is new on them. Clamping style is similar to H31 with use of rubber wedges. Current H36 on Ultimate does have conventional bolt clamping from sides and cut out in the back of the stem. Hope that these bars will support internal cable routing directly to the frame.

I didn't even notice the SL model. $2200 is sweet deal. I'm still staring at Pro frameset for $1500. They must have lowered the price for 2019 model to compete with Emonda.

Too bad that Giant Propel Disc Pro frameset cost so much more than the TCR. About $2200 would be sweet.

Unlike the TCR, the Propel comes with a cockpit.

I wish they'd fix that god damn stem. It's hideous.

I was under ther impression that you can mount standard stem, no? Cockpit is here to stay, it trickled down to Defy.

I guess you could mount a normal stem as the Defy Advanced (non Pro) and pass the cables behind the stem into the frame:

 so true. I can't get over the cable routing on Cervelos and really turned me off when I was looking at the R3 disc.
