Interesting that the Venge, Cannondale and BMC bikes aren't fatter looking, compared to say the new Orbea Orca Aero. Thought the relaxed UCI rules would have let them get away with slightly fatter bikes this time round, but designers are playing it conservatively there. Saying that, the new Madone might be a bit fatter.

Hi Shrike, the only UCI rule they relaxed was 3:1. The 8cm rule still applies, so main frame tubes are still limited.
In practice, the only parts with more freedom now are fork blades and stays.

Several times now we've measured no decrease in drag when elongating those sections beyond 3:1, but maybe we'll find the magic there one day. But then the tubes get heavier and less comfortable...

Theres multiple 2019 rim brake versions of the TCR already on Giant's website. No change, as far as I can see. I like this one.

The Cycling Tips review said they didn’t get a chance to weigh it but not why, who knows if BMC is hiding it or it’s just the way it played out. I’m sure I saw somewhere it was 7.6 ish for the top line model

Not that "light". ...My F10 disk is 7.56kg with K-Edge Garmin-mount, Powermeter, 2 bottle cages and pedals and the Pinarello/ F10 are not known to be light....

I am using the DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut 48 DB.

The stock TeamMachine ONE has the 62mm. They are 100g heavier than the 48mm.
The Dura Ace powermeter is adding 70g to the standard 9100 crankset.

Fuji is also promising a revamped sub 900g Transonic with no proprietary parts, and good aero.
