I'm looking to upgrade my DA 9100 (52-36/170mm) crankset to something lighter, stiffer, and asthetically nicer. I'm aware of THM Clavicula SE cranks, and not much else. My bike is an Oltre XR4. Thanks!

Sram Red are the cheapest light cranks, especially if you have a BB30 or PF30 frame. Claviculas are the ultimate if budget allows. Lightnings fall in between and if you have a PF30 frame you can sometimes find the Specialized version of Lightnings for fairly cheap on ebay.

I don't think there's anything out there significantly stiffer than 9100, just lighter.

If you have a pf86 frame it's likely you have a 41id bb shell. This means you will be stuck with heavier 22-24mm axle cranks like shimano hollowtech and sram gxp.

Going with sram gxp or maybe fsa kforce/slk (swap chainrings) would be a little lighter than r9100. But not by much. I'd say keep the r9100. It's already hard to improve on @640gr.

Just for the sake of clarity that isn't correct, with BB86 there really isn't a problem using a crank with 30mm spindle. Thm, Lightning, Easton, Praxis etc... all make bb86 bottom brackets for their cranks. The limits of spindle size become a problem when you go down to bb90. It's possible to fit a 30mm spindle into a bb90, but the bearings in that case are so small that they don't hold up well.

30mm crank in a 41id shell would leave 5.5mm for the bearing AND cup. That is not a large ball spinning around in there. I'd avoid it myself...

If the bearing were super high quality and the rider light as a feather it might work ok.

Most of the bb86 for 30mm, or 4130 bb's as some like to call them don't have a separate bearing and cup. Most are now being made with a lip so that the outer race of the bearing is the cup. This leaves enough room for a decent sized bearing. Thm and others have been making them this way for years and we've never really seen any issues with them.

yeah,
let see, BB86 use 41mm outer and 37mm inner cup and bearing with 37mm outer 24mm inner.
Their bearing is also (37-24)/2 = 6.5mm
Actually, most bearing are not even have 24mm inner but rather a standard size 6805 bearing which has 25mm inner. pair with 1mm hat to make it 24mm. So more like 6mm for the bearing.

Not much bigger than a direct fit 4130 bearings without cup (5.5mm)
