Do they stop? Yes. I'm 85kg and I can stop coming down a hill. That said, like I indicated in my post on the G20SL, they don't stop as well as any other brakeset i've owned (the best being DA 9000). They feel like the flex when I squeeze hard on the brake levers.

I've had similar issues getting the brakes centered.. after trimming my housing several times, I got it to the point where the front barely rubs, but after a few stops it doesn't rub.. (although it will start rubbing again at the beginning of the next ride.. weird)

For the record I'm running them on Ksyrium SLRs, which are super narrow. With a new set of exalith brake pads, I have the microcam adjustment maxed out. Front has good engagement, the rear has way too much travel for my liking.

I have double-sided sphericals that go between the padholder and arm of the caliper - this spaces the padholder out 2mm on each padholder. Use these for narrow rims so you don't have to max out the cradle of your cam. Send me your name and address and I will get you a set of 4 at no charge. lekkitech8@gmail.com

Hi Ted/Ewa
sorry to bother, but will you also send me the brake you still owe me since last January? (warranty).
Sorry to write here but you do not answer my emails anymore, and I did not receive yet the brake you were supposed to dispatch weeks and weeks ago...

Thanks,
Bastien (www.dulight.fr)

Hi what was wrong with your brakes?

Mine snapped at front caliper.

Emailed them as well and they have not replied.

Do the Zero G20 SL use Shimano or Campagnolo pads? Looking to buy a pair from a private seller who says Shimano should fit, although he is not sure. I read online that only Campagnolo pads are compatible. I have many pairs of unused Shimano compatible pads already.

Hi, it was not my brake, it belonged to a customer who lives in Wales.
The carbon has cracked above the first hole on the cam side of the brake.

It happened when he tried to install the brake for the first time. It was the very first time we had a defect, and it is still the only warranty case, the Lekki8 are reliable. I gave my customer a new brake because Ted had no stock in this period, he said he would send me new brake later, I am still waiting. I could write many things about my relationship with Ted, probably I will if he still refuses to send what he owes me :D

I think those are not defects. I have mine as well broken on that same area, front brake. This is lekki8 design flaw (or maybe its an isolated case), a hole was drilled to where it is way out from the neutral axis, it means there are still force and stresses on that area causing it to tear apart. Compared to rear where it was drilled away from the top.

And now they are not responding emails

EE have MUCH more power and feel WAY better. A friend and I got sets of lekki8 when they first came out. I set his up, according to directions, power is low and they feel kinda mushy. I was waiting to install mine on a new build. Friends CRACKED, at all 4 pad holder mounts, hes lucky he wasnt hurt... we live in the mountains. Ted was not at all alarmed! So we sent both sets back to be "updated" at the end of Feb. He got his set back 2 weeks ago and I am still waiting on mine at the end of December.
