Hi Bastien, where's the crack? I can't tell what I'm looking at. I've ordered a pair and I'm wondering whether I could reinforce the weak areas.bass wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 11:46 amHi, it was not my brake, it belonged to a customer who lives in Wales.DondonJohns wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 9:49 ambass wrote: ↑Wed Oct 28, 2020 9:31 amHi Ted/Ewa
sorry to bother, but will you also send me the brake you still owe me since last January? (warranty).
Sorry to write here but you do not answer my emails anymore, and I did not receive yet the brake you were supposed to dispatch weeks and weeks ago...
Thanks,
Bastien (www.dulight.fr)
Hi what was wrong with your brakes?
Mine snapped at front caliper.
Emailed them as well and they have not replied.
The carbon has cracked above the first hole on the cam side of the brake.

It happened when he tried to install the brake for the first time. It was the very first time we had a defect, and it is still the only warranty case, the Lekki8 are reliable. I gave my customer a new brake because Ted had no stock in this period, he said he would send me new brake later, I am still waiting. I could write many things about my relationship with Ted, probably I will if he still refuses to send what he owes me

But look at the apologists. One page ago they were all but ready to proclaim the guy as a born-again saint for just about 20 grams.
Sigh.

As Eddie or Wally would say, they're still giving customers the business.
Definition of 'give someone the business'
a. to make difficulties for someone; treat harshly. Instead of a straight answer they give him the business with a needless run-around. b. to scold severely; give a tongue-lashing to.
