I don't know what to say. My Bianchi Oltre XR4 had less than four rides when this garbage Vision Metron 5d integrated bar cracked. Had to pay for shipping, pay to have all the Di2 cables, bar end junction box, bar tape removed and reinstalled out of pocket. Two weeks later my brand new de Rosa with a ride on Sunday and one this afternoon and same thing happened again. And no, I'm not some big guy who wrecks bikes. My weight fluctuates from 159-170 lbs. Now i have to go through this shit with Vision FSA again :x :x :x

Wow. That sucks man, sorry you have to deal with this. It's good to put it out there for others though.

Indoor. Inside the house, not garage, in sunny, non humid, Southern California.

Hey, gravedig I know, but this is the internally routed (ACR) version, correct? I wonder if the regular versions are less crappy.

This looks like the normal version to me, not the ACR which has a much bigger top cap.

I would dedicate the refund/replacement bar to smashing the crap out of it on some concrete so you can have closure and move on to a better handlebar.

Sorry, must be super frustrating.

It is just the paint issue, and it is quite normal on 5D.

I was gonna ask, if you use your nail on those lines, does the paint chip off?

edit; just realised it was a 2018 topic.
