The initial reviews are out from some of the cycling press. The Bike Radar reviewer gives it positive marks except for a shimmy that occurs are high (not even that high) speed, and claims other reviewers experienced the same. They speculate it might be whe front wheel, but if it's the frame, that would be a purchase disqualifier for me: https://www.bikeradar.com/us/road/gear/ ... iew-52091/

I took a 51cm TMR01 above 50mph quite a few times and did not experience any 'shimmy'. Had the stock 62mm DT Swiss wheels on.

7.76kg which really means 7.8kg the same weight as SystemSix....I would consider this porky when compared to Venge at 7.1kg for same size.

Quite heavy....

The F10 is known not to be very light and my F10 disk with Dura Ace Di2, Dura Ace powermeter , DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut 48 DB, Pro Vibe Stealth stem/ handlebar, K-Edge, Garmin mount, bottle cages, saddle, etc...and Time pedals is 7.53 kg.

The Team Machine SLR already has a very low stack (much lower than a Tarmac) and this one is lower still. You'd have to be a young and uber flexible pro to ride a set up like that, unless you are prepared to put up with a 4 cm tower of spacers...

All retro steel bikes look as similar too each other as these aero bikes do. When the best design has been found, everyone uses it.

That's why I'm looking forward to a new S5, Madone, and possibly Aeroad all very soon.

Take the one you prefer. In that category they are the same more or less in terms of aero.

It's more so just to see where they individually develop...the Aeroad is a very good looking bike, as is this BMC.

With Vroomen gone from Cervelo it'll be interesting to see a S6(?) designed without him, although his 3T Strada was effectively just an S5 with narrower tubes.
