Was looking at the bigger sizes I ride (58).
Then it's 15mm lower than a new 58 Tarmac and 6mm lower than a new 58 Venge.

Lower, but not much lower. And definitely not lower still than much lower

They release a stiff bike and then with such a stem? Lol… and yes i know what i am talking about because i had the slr01 disc which uses the same stem for a couple months.
Even Greg Van Avermaet complains about the stem and is jealous of Sagan that can use the zipp sprint stem.
Would like to know where you get this from?
If they are at home then i train sometimes with Greg VA and Oliver Naessen and the other ‘parels’ like they call them.

Have you ridden the new ICS stem that is part of this bicycle? Because it's a brand new stem that's unique to this model for now.
Same stem as the slr and roadmachine they just deliver it with a aero handlebar instead of a normal one.

Doesn't look like the exact same stem to me.

It's not the same stem. The stem and bars are a new design. Handlebars are 25mm in diameter at the clamp. New ICS Aero is thinner and wider as a result. I don't remember the figures but having ridden the bike and seen the design of stem... it's beefy enough.

So it’s not the 3T stem that GVA was running on your instagram account?

anyone know what the bottle holder, etc is made of.. plastics ?
I smell a nice CF mold possibility if it's just plastics.

My LBS is chatting with BMC.. to get me one. Depending on pricing, it's either DA, Ultegra or Module. It's still a few months out :(

Any photos without the 'integrated storage'? I bet it will look even worse than it already does...

it's getting good air time on todays tdf stage... looks fine to me. Seattube bottle seems to be move all the way down.

I think both bottle cages can be mounted lower in case you are only running one on the downtube for example.

Just watching the highlights and I thought the bike looked amazing, especially because the bottle is so far down, seems like a seriously well thought out bike.

Keep in mind Schar is 196cm/6'5" and probably rides a 60cm. His bike will just have a bunch of elements that look bad by default. My 54cm Trek has the bottle cage at the same height above the BB shell and it looks fine.

exactly... I'm likely to buy a 47cm and occasionally will be using larger capacity bottles so this option is appealing to me since I might need the room, so I dont bang the underside of the TT all the time.
