There is $1,965 to spare. So I better get the module and build it up myself. I can even throw in a power meter and padels with the spare money. What am I missing?
I didn’t do the math but was thinking the same thing. Some how more than $4000 for a frameset (with additional parts) seems like a bargain. Which is weird.

The black on black module looks great but almost everyone has a black on black bike nowadays...
The MOD comes with five complete decal sets, all in a different color, so you can customize the look of your bike to your hearts content.

It is strange that you have to really search the BMC website to get to the new TimeMachine page. I would assume a new release would pop up on the main page itself.

Anyhow, looks like they only have one color option for each offering they have. The black on black module looks great but almost everyone has a black on black bike nowadays...

The pricing is also a bit strange for me. A complete bike set you back at $12,999 in USD. A module is only $4,499. Pricing based on bikeradar page. So the difference is $8,500. But the module already came with stem, bar, Aero module (bottle cage, bottles, storage unit) and saddle. So the remaining things needed are a wheel set, group set and bar tape. A quick search saw a complete Shimano Dura-Ace R9170 Di2 Disc Groupset for $3,100. An ENVE SES 5.6 Disc with Chris King ceramic hub goes for $3,400. A Lizard Skin bar tape goes for $35. Total is $6,535. There is $1,965 to spare. So I better get the module and build it up myself. I can even throw in a power meter and padels with the spare money. What am I missing?
hey dont complain... I was expecting module to be 6K like their TT bike.. so I'm ok with it.

I find that BMC pricing is very odd. As you go up in the range, the value of the bike doesn't correspond to the increased price.

For example, the Teammachine SLR01 Disc ONE (7299EU) vs Teammachine SLR01 Disc TWO (5299EU). The only differences is that the SLR01 ONE has Ultegra di2 and DT Swiss PRC1400 (carbon), where as the SLR01 TWO has Ultegra mechanical and DT Swiss PR 1600 SPLINE (alloy). Everything else on the two models is identical.

The price difference of the two bikes is 2300EU, but the price difference between the wheels/groupset is only 1453EU. I'd say that the lower model bike is better value especially if you intend to upgrade it in the future.

SLR01 ONE: 7299EU
Ultegra di2 Groupset: 1133EU
DT Swiss PRC1400: 1385EU

SLR01 TWO: 4999EU
Ultegra Groupset: 713EU
DT Swiss PR1600 Spline: 352EU

From BMC website, looks like bar tape is included with the module. That saved even more!

They release a stiff bike and then with such a stem? Lol… and yes i know what i am talking about because i had the slr01 disc which uses the same stem for a couple months.
Even Greg Van Avermaet complains about the stem and is jealous of Sagan that can use the zipp sprint stem.

Would like to know where you get this from?

Have you ridden the new ICS stem that is part of this bicycle? Because it's a brand new stem that's unique to this model for now.

With Vroomen gone from Cervelo it'll be interesting to see a S6(?) designed without him, although his 3T Strada was effectively just an S5 with narrower tubes.
Yes, it is just like an S5, but with every individual element drastically changed. So, umm, nah
