I will have finances sorted middle feb ish (property selling). I've budgeted to get a new bike. However I'm torn, a Venge pro disc in purple or a BMW Timemachine road, however as the red Etap is unavailable in my size (51). It would be a framset, again none in the uk, so I'd have to import from Ireland.

^... awesome.. would nice to see the individual parts (weights)of the module. I'll try to do that when I get mine, but I ordered the opposite end of the spectrum (47cm)
Total weight of aero module (w/o screws) including the two bottles (92g each), the 2 bottle cages (70g each) and the storage box (111g) is 435g.

Sorry I mean the frame/fork/seatpost.. stuff like that, but those are nice to know as well. Hope you reach you goal weight. Tubulars and light pedals will help. I'm stuck to clinchers and Garmin vectors for mine.

I found it to be quite honest. Which is refreshing in the middle of the current aero geekery.

I inquired about a size 56 BMC Timemachine 01 Module version on 10/15/18 to a shop I purchased from before. They received one in stock on 10/25/18 and it was at my door on 10/29/18. I took my time building it up. I have quite a few Di2 DA and Campy EPS components in my work shop, minus the hydraulic disc brakes. But I decided to go with eTap HRD. A wireless/cable-free build is so appealing. The weather has been bad for a few weeks. I did get two rides in though. The first was short, bedding the brakes. The 2nd ride was ~20mi/32km with a nice downhill and then climb. Not much to go on...I need to tweak my fit (saddle mainly) a little bit, then ride it some more...weather allowing.
Weight of bike shown below is 8.22kg....butyl tubes in tires, flat kit in box, fluid in bottles, Power Tap pedals.

I found a full bike online in size 47.. but 13K = Fthat. I was hoping 47cm would not be a popular size like 51 ..since I'm a tweener between those 2 I ordered the 47 module. I'd rather have more seatpost showing and maybe an extra stem spacer. (or two)
Would love to see this. The previous versions didn't have a 47 correct?

Usually the smaller frames look off. I studied how they looked before buying a bike 5 yrs ago and landed with the Felt AR which had the most horizontal top tube which was more appealing to me.

There are a lot of false representations in this video. To name a few examples:

1. Any standard bottle will fit in the cages
2. If one were unfortunate enough to break a cage whilst on holiday, any standard cage can replace it. Which would still make that standard cage the most aerodynamic it will ever be.
3. It's super easy to travel with the ICS system. Remove the cover from underneath the stem to undo a single bolt that releases the cables, remove the stems faceplate to take the bar off and rotate it any way you like into the bike bag, without having to undo a single line.

So the video was honest, was it?

I don't think they were being dishonest, just ill-informed.

Considering the fluid is a kg ish, then I think thats pretty good especially with the power pedals. It's a reali time weight. When I rode one I did love the handlebars on the TMR. How did you find climbing on it?
Edit; sorry, personal preference but I think plain black bottle would look good?

This doesn't make sense...

As pictured = 8,220g

- 435g for module and bottles
- 1,000g for fluids
- 100g? for flat kit
- 437g for pedals

= 6,248g

Are you sure you didn't mean 9.22kg as pictured?

It's their job to be informed. Plus, it's a bicycle, not rocket science.

exactly... and other negs mentioned are pretty true across the board for aero bikes. I'm hoping someone other then Joe gives the review because at this point that was sooooo poorly done and half-assed ill informed I cant take anything serious from him on this bike.
