Hey guys,

I'm building a 2018 De Rosa SK Pininfarina with Dura Ace 9150, Vision Metron 5D integrated bar, and Bora Ultra 50 clinchers, either dark or bright. I'm going back and forth on the two colors. The dark Bora's are stunning on my Oltre XR4 and look beautiful on the De Rosa. But the bright colors really go well too. Just to throw a curve, I'm also considering the Zipp 454's . Let me know what you think? BTW the wheels pictured are from my Oltre.

I'm very interested in the Bora Ultra 50 and will probably go with the Dark version.

I think with your De Rosa, honestly, you could go either way and the results will be completely stunning.

IMO only a handful of bikes can go with the bright version... yours is one of them. Definitely complements the splashes of red on the logos and the bold saturated blue.

I prefer the light version (the bright version looks too 'bling' with the frame (too much in your face, if that makes sense)

Depends... I think you could sport the bright labels with white tape and saddle. Would look quite pro. But with black tape and saddle, I’d probably stick with the dark labels.

As for the wheels, those “sawtooth” or “whalefin” Zipps are hideous. Just No.

Dark would fit any frame so it would be safe choice. Also what Calnago said ^.

Dark.

In my case, I have considered it ( Dark or Bright) also, but I decide the Dark label color.

Wheels should be as logoless as possible, the frame should be the star.......just my op

Are the decals removable on Boras? Zipps with Shimano not Boras

I went with the bright Bora's and swapped out the Vision Metron 5D cockpit to the new Enve Aero stem/bar.
