Anyone have one of these and could please advise on clearance on Conti GP4k 28mm on a 17mm or bigger internal width rim?
Seems a bit of a lottery these days and would be good to know what I can run before buying. Columbus info says up to 28mm but that could mean 28mm on a 15mm rim...
Axle to crown is 368mm but not sure that's enough!
Thanks

I have that fork. Here’s a couple of pictures if it helps. Tyres are Schwalbe 1 and measure 25.5. The rims are Open Pro - 20mm outside and I think they are 15 inside. So, some help but sorry I don’t have wider rims that will fit that bike.
I'm left handed, if that matters.
Well I bought one so I can now answer my own question!
Yes, it fits with about 3mm all round between fork and tyre, which is pretty acceptable I think. Haven't tried for brake clearance but I don't anticipate any issues with the brakes I'm using currently.
Will try to get a photo uploaded as evidence.

Hi, did the brakes clear too? Am looking at the same fork. How wide are your rims (internal/external)? Thanks.Nixster wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 2:43 pmWell I bought one so I can now answer my own question!

Gp4k 28s should be well over 30mm on 17c, right?
