So I need help from the community for this. I've always wanted to try and build a sub 6.8kg CAAD10 for the fun of it. I work at a bike shop (Cannondale retailer amongst other brands). Anyways, I have access to a variety of different brands on demand from distributors.
Anyways, I've started building it. As of right now, it's an ugly mess of random parts I found around my shop and things I just ordered, nothing's 100% with this yet. I really want suggestions on what to change up.
Specs:
- - full Sram Force 22 except for Sram Red Crank
- - Jagwire Road Elite Linl brake and shift cables
- - pair of cannondale bottle cages (carbon)
- - Fizik Performance Tacky tape, do not recommend, terrible, (going back to Lizard Skin)
- - Zipp SL Course 20 degree seatpost
- - Fizik Arione R1 Open saddle
- - Not pictured but I have a pair of Vision TC 50 tubulars, have my Aksium training wheels on
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, really want to make this conciderably light but this is my first actual build for the frame up for myself. Pictures just below

You really shouldn't have much trouble getting to 6.8kg, just make a spreadsheet. The only thing that is possibly unessecily heavy looks like the handlebars and maybe stem depending on which cdale stem it is. Kalloy UNO stems come in around 110g.

Looks like a nice build
[35g saving] Selle Italia - SLR TM Flow Saddle 170g
[50g saving] Deda Zero 100 RHM Black Handlebar 265g
[TBA saving] Deda Superleggero Stem - 100g
[45g saving] Deda Superleggero RS Seatpost - 175g
Also depending on what Look pedals you have, switching over to Time Xpresso pedals could shave off another 50 odd grams

Yeah was thinking about getting a Kalloy UNO, just have to see price after duties, taxes and shipping, for the same price I or less I might be able to find something good at cost.

Thanks for the suggestions, luckily my shop has accounts with Deda and Sella Italia (also have SMP) dealers, definitely going to look into your recomendations, same goes for pedals.
