Only Trek emonda slr is at the weight u stated and it's Super ex. Normal emonda is about 1kg for the frame.
Suggest go for fuji SL 1.1 frame for lightness

i would not call 2999.- euro "super expensive" for one of the lightest framesets available. much cheaper than other frames of this weight class (ax vial evo, cervelo rca, sarto seta, scott addict premium, even the badly constructed wilier zero 6...)
regrettably it looks ugly.

You consider $3000 super expensive? $3000 is not cheap, no. But its not super expensive. Not even sure it qualifies as expensive. It is 2018, in case you did not know. Its not 1988.

I bought a motorcycle for $3000. I'm pretty sure $3000 for a frame only qualifies as expensive, 2018 or not.

Doesn't need to be ultra-boutique to qualify as expensive.

My total budget for the bike is 1500€. 3000€ is twice that. I am looking for an used frame that would cost max. 600€.

You can buy cars for $300. So you spent TEN times more on a motorcycle? Wow!!!! You're one of those Kardashian people for blowing money.

$3000 for a frame only is not expensive. Its not cheap. But its not expensive.

Still think $3000 is expensive for a frame?

I can't live in a bicycle frame, so yes, $3000 for a bicycle frame is expensive. That's so incredibly disingenuous I'm honestly at a loss for words. Go ask anyone who makes a median income in a first world country if they think $3000 for a bicycle frame, not even a complete bicycle, is expensive. Go ask someone who runs a Trek or Fuji dealer what the median price of a bicycle they sell is. $300 car? You mean something over 20 years old, 200k miles and in dire need of repairs?

I'm sorry, but you're grossly out of touch with reality.

Do you know the average wages in Slovenia?

It is like USA compared to Switzerland Image

Which shop is that? Is it in the US?

take a look around. They are located at Pécs, which is not far from slovenian border. The prices are listed in HUF, but you can convert it to EUR pretty damn well

though these are mostly complete builds, you can always strip-sell the parts not needed. You can even view sold-no longer available items, recent offerings, under the option "korábbi termékeink", to see, what they were selling in the last few weeks

https://apro.bikemag.hu/apro/cervelo-s3 ... szett-5738

195k HUF, that equals 610 euros for the frameset..

Váz+villa+kormánycsapágy+gyűrűk+nyeregcső+bilincs+BSA menetes középrész

means: frame-fork-headset-spacer rings-seatpost with seatpost clamp and a BSA threaded bottom bracket

for this cc. 610 euro, it seems quite reasonable

http://magicbike.hu/?p=8003

the frameset for only 150k HUF, the package with everything is more ofc.

You can also look at Planet X: https://www.planetx.co.uk/c/q/frames/road-bike-frames
Not the lightest but the price is good and the majority is BSA threaded.

It's in Euro, but maybe some people should have a look: https://www.laenderdaten.info/durchschn ... kommen.php ;)

Globally it's really crazy what we spend on bikes.

And the numbers are the calculated average not the median (50% earn more, 50% less) - so most people earn less.

And in the USA ("richest country in the world") 50% have no financial savings or is in dept. And this group will grow.

The Battaglin Hyper looks good but they have the frame only in XS size and the frame is Di2 only.
