Read the scale again. It's not 15.15. It's actually 15.94 pounds.
Sorry didn't notice it was in Oz, thanks!

Damn your right.. I have the same scale and didn't even notice..

Looks about right to me. Most articles I have read say a 54 is 15.75 lbs (without pedals and cages) and that is essentially 7.16 kg.

I saw one in person. Nice bike... but just say no to glitter-paint. Glitter is for little kids.

Which articles do you see that in?

Those weights seem about right.
My 56 weighs in at 7.4kgs on the dot with 9100 Pedals, 2x Arundel Cages and the Barfly mount
(note that I'm running CLX50 Discs instead of the 64s)
Will post pictures soon! :)

Originally ordered grey then changed. Not sure it would work with orange and blue team kit...

If they had that color in Canada I would have tried to find one. Grey looks awesome!. Only Black for us, or the Sagan frameset.

Sizing question for you guys. Obviously I'm thinking about dropping $$$ to grab a Venge, and I'm not super familiar with Specialized sizing, and was looking to the interwebs for some help. I'm debating between a 56 and 58cm..
  • * 6" tall
    * 75cm saddle height
    * super long torso - likely I'm gonna drop a 130mm 6* stem on either bike.
    * currently have about a 7-8cm drop from saddle to handlebars
I"m more familar with Trek sizing - and would drop a 58cm H1 likely on a Trek. The 58 Specialized would be fine i think - longer, and I'd have the stem pretty much slammed with very little post showing. The 56 seems more reasonable? I'd probably have to put maybe 20-25mm of spacers to get at my current height.

Thoughts? :) Thanks!

Beautiful. Will buy one in January :)
What size is it? 52? 54?
Does it ride well on rolling hills and climbs? Is it good as an all-rounder? I currently ride an S2.

It is a 49cm (I am 166cm) and yes it awesome on rolling terrain and climbs. I am in Adelaide (Tour Down Under) so lots of climbing to be had. I also have an SL5 SW Tarmac and I prefer the Venge already as an all rounder. I was a bit worried about the aero bars for climbing but i actually love them, it is such a big platform your hands just rest on the tops very comfortably. They are textured on top so even without gloves and going hard I have not found any issues with grip. It is the same weight as the SL5 even with deeper wheels which I find incredible given how aero it is (and with disc)and it just so much faster...it just wants to roll. I would say it is a slightly harsher ride than the Tarmac but worth it given the advantages. I have reduced the tyre pressure by 5psi on the SW 26mm tyres and that has offset it for the most part. You will love it...trust me!!

Stem is slammed as low as it will go with a 120mm stem.
