Very nice build, I do own a venge as well and was thinking on switching the oe stem/bar combo to EXS Aerover, on yours I do see somekind of spacer between the handlebar and the headset topcap that doesn't sit flush, can you elaborate on that pls, is that the spacer (transition) that exs provide for the venge or something you put yourself?

regards
it doesn't sit flash because I don't use the exs transition spacer. The fork steerer tube was cut to a minimum for the OEM stem by the previous owner. The stack on the exs is a bit higher than the OEM, so I decided to "gain" some of the steerer tube by removing the transition spacer. TBH I like a lower position, so this worked for me.
Ok thanks for the info, at this time I have: oe headset cap,5mm spacer and transition spacer for the -12 stem, I believe the EXS kit might work.
Yes it will work.

Nice! One piece bar, Deda Traforato, and Galfer Wave would get you in the 6.7kg range.

My 58cm was a similar built and ended up around 6.9kg. You really don't need to choose between light and aero if you pick your parts carefully.

Also the chain rings but I just wanted to stay under 7
But..
Is there a one piece bar that match the spacers flawlessly?

I used the sub-300g RSL VRC with the spacer for standard stems and it looked clean.

Impressive weight, I may have missed it but what are the components to get you under 7kg?

Swapped rims over to low profile Roval C38 with Galfer Road Wave Rotors and Vittoria Corsa. Crosswinds no longer an issue on fast descents

Not sure how, but my front derailleur mount has a dent in it and the chain is catching. It's not a serviceable part because it's riveted to the frame. I registered the bike 4 years ago and I know the frame has a lifetime warranty, I can see this is included with a new frame - do you think this will be included? Specialized have offered me a discount off a new frameset but they haven't said how much yet...

Can't you simply order a new FD mount? The rivets can be drilled out.

I can't find a replacement mount, Specialized don't make one. Do you know of a 3rd party?

They must be available somewhere because I have a spare one. Unfortunately I don't know where I ordered it

I've checked my local specialized store and contacted specialized and no one has offered me a part number or option.

I was hoping the fault might be considered part of the frame lifetime warranty as it's riveted on and also sold as part of the frameset. However, Specialized have said that the mech has moved causing the mounting tab to warp rather than a manufacturing defect with the frame. They are offering an assisted purchase off a new frame. Not sure if I have a case to push for the frame warranty.

Get someone to CNC you a new mount, might be the cheapest solution.

Hi can someone tell me if there’s an integrated cockpit less expensive than roval rapide but in the same weight range?
Possibly something that fits clean with spacers like the magcad ones?
