Built this (54cm) for a very good rider the other week...
Not directed at just you, but I figured you might know the answer given the number of frames you've built up :)

I recently moved and my 58cm Venge frame is still on the shipping container for another week or two. Now I'm looking to place the last few orders so that I can build it quickly when it arrives. Since I don't have the frame in hand, I can't take the neccesary measurements.

The build will be with R9200 calipers and 160/140mm rotors.

1. What is the thickness of the frame where the rear caliper fixing bolts C and C2 pass through? Attached is a table of the available lengths. The calipers came with the lengths for 25cm chainstays.
2. For the front which type A bolts do I need? On bike24 there looks to only be two lengths, "standard" and "for R9170." The manual isn't clear on the difference. And do I need to order the snapring separately?
3. What length Di2 wires will I need for a 58cm frame with the battery in the seatpost? Since this is R9200/R8100build, I just need FD-to-battery and RD-to-battery wires. Ideally I would like to minimize the length so there isn't a bunch of uneccesary wire sitting in the frame.

Thanks in advance!

1. it's 25mm, so the bolts already have the correct length

2. I used the ones that came with the front caliper

3. for my 54cm frame I used 500mm and 1000mm. The 500mm for the FD were a bit t short for my taste, so for a 58cm frame I would use 600mm and 1050mm/1100mm.

Looks like the 58 seat tube is 42mm longer than a 54. Chainstay is the same. So in theory I need 42mm more length than you. There doesn't seem to be a 1050 or 1100 available. Only 1000 and then 1200.

Do you think 1000 would work comfortably?

1200 or 1400mm on all builds to allow some flexibility taking the bike apart and not losing a short wire inside the frame...

Just did it for a laugh, no discs on the wheels as you can see! Reckon it would be doable on fine dry gravel with a little bit of stick on frame protection. Might give it a go. Rear wheel has quite a lot of clearance.
