Lighter yes, plug and play soso. You can mount the SL7 stem on the Venge but it doesn't look superclean

So is there something p&p and lighter?
I read the whole thread but I don’t remember anything

Nearly everything is p&p if you use the headset cover made for standard stems.

I had Martyn @ Raceware make me a custom 3D printed transition spacer for my THM stem

Also had him make a custom faceplate insert out of steel for computer mount to support both a 1040 and GoPro so it doesn’t slide down.

Why didn't you just use the one that comes with the Venge for non-integrated stems?

IMO it would only look good if the stem is slammed

Another elegant solution for the THM/Schmolke stems is a 3mm carbon adapter plate. Between spacer and stem

Yeah I tried that but my ocd kicked into overdrive - I wanted a seamless integration that followed the lines of the stem

Fantastic bike>fantastic ride

Forearms on the handlebar, 40kmh on a flat road @270w: amazing!

Now I need to switch the crankset to a compact one but it seems that a part from thm there’s nothing significantly lighter from Sram red

You can always go for FSA K-force light. I have a 50/36 setup and it shifts better than Sram. Plus the DS crank arm have more clearance to the FD cage
560g is the weight of mine with chainrings.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

Ex bike; Vial EVO D, Vial EVO Ultra, Scott Foil, Paduano ti bike.

Then that's heavier than Sram Red Exogram BB30 crankset.

Sram Red Exogram BB30 with stock chainrings are 520g. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=141373#p1261958
It become sub 500g with Praxis chainring or something lighter.
Sram 50t weight 125g, Praxis Buzz 50t weight 104g.

Yupp, don't have Exo. But there are other benefits like clearance to FD cage and better shifting using 50/36.
As a side note, you can also shift full cassette with both chainrings without any rub. 11-28 and 11-26.
