S-Works Venge 2019

I'm always amazed how fast this bike is. I ride my English 90% of the time as I'm doing a lot of hill climb training but when I hop on the Venge I'm always blown away how quickly it gets to speed and holds it.

I'm intrigued by the new Pro stems, might be a nice alternative to the sl7 or Venge stem with a nice little weight drop too b

30kmh avg with 36km done at >40kmh in sectors like that one

Might swap to a plain black stem since I'm an old man with those spacers. Also might change the turbo cottons to black.

Out on my Venge again today after a couple of days on the trusty tricked out C59. The latter will always be a luxurious ride, but man, the Venge is just awesome. Like the Colnago I reckon it's just going to get up gunned for the next decade. The incoming Melee has a lot of impressing to do...

A bit tempted to try more narrow & quite a bit lighter. But it's not the most cost-effective weightweenie choice, I think...
