I found a detailed video about the ITU aero bars.

https://youtu.be/CwCkfbC2hu0

Also comidic gold because of the awesome spacer setup 🤣
Jesus *f##k* Christ. That's gotta be 25mm over spec.

OK so I see he strongly advised against it and told the customer it was dangerous but still. His country may be different but here a customer cannot legally forfeit their right to sue for negligence. Even if they put their name to a document saying it was their choice to ignore the manufacturer limits, if you build it for them and it breaks they (or their family) can still come back with a lawyer and take you to the cleaners.
Yep... and i think he actually said it was double the maximum allowed by specialized. It is just crazy. Thos are the type of good deals when buying 2nd hand.

Alright. Probably last one for at least a while. Not even sure if anyone cares anymore :). But I like posting so I guess it's just for me.

Abandoned the s-works turbo tubeless tires. They are TERRIBLE. I had a puncture of some kind on just about every ride and stans sealant could not handle them at road tire pressures. Not doing any more 50 mile rides home on 40psi. Giving the Vittorias a try and I have a second wheelset that I have some Contis installed on thst have been super solid.

So yeah. 15.85 set up as I would Race minus the computer. Not bad. Going full DA would probably only take off maybe 100g. Next gen DA hopefully more but probably not so this is probably about where I land with this bike in an all day ride/race setup.

I could probably get those 300g and 15lb magic number with tubolitos and tt tires plus full DA but I'm not going to go to the trouble just for a picture of a setup I won't ride.

Cheers All!

15lbs is hard. Looking at your setup, the wheels are, what - 1450g? Unless you put on some lighter wheels, you are sort of constrained by what you can do. I got Roval CLX 50s, conti 5000 with revoloop at the moment (so far, so good, by the way), and the bike with bottle cages and the bike with bottle cages and garmin mount is 6.88 kg. I have the Chrono CX carbon bottle cages which are by no means lightest, so with regular cages this is like 6.85 kg or so. And this is a frame that has been stripped of paint and clearcoated with bits of paint in places - so lighter than stock. To go even lighter, I'd need an even lighter saddle than my Berk lupina (padded), and/or lighter chainrings, like Carbon-ti. Total additional savings of somewhere around 100g. Possible, but it's serios cash for what will probably prove detrimental to performance.

Do an ounce of research and stop using Stan’s.

Happy to get my Venge in size 58 under 7 kg. Lovely ride, especially with the enve 7.8 :)

How much harsher of a ride are those 7.8 compare to your CLX 50's?

Also do those wheels compare when it comes to accelarating?

I have a similar setup and was thinking about getting a pair of 7.8 disc.

I really like the feeling of the 7.8 and dont find it harsh. I can notice the added weight when accelerating, but it holds speed very well. The 7.8 has better directional stability. I have no problem to handle the enves in wind. I had a rear rim blowout on the 7.8 last year after hitting av pothole and that was quite sqary. I got a new rim and new pressure relief valve stem nuts and hope it wont happen again. It probably wont with the new nuts.

Do you get brake rub on any of your wheels?

My 64s make quite a bit of noise when i(82kg) get out of the saddle.

That's a gorgeous colour, but I have no explanation for your weight. Enve's are around 140g heavier than the CLX 50 that I am have, and the Rotor+p2m is also pretty hefty compared to Spesh power cranks - but this certainly does not account for 900g of extra weight, expecially at 52cm size. Also hard to imagine the frameset being that much heavier. Maybe the scale is wrong? :noidea: It really should not weigh that much though.

I see some lovely carbon-Ti chainrings. How is the front shifting quality compared to Praxis or Dura Ace?
