I have no idea buuuut I would love to see Al-Lithium (lower density and higher stiffness) or Al-beryllium (crazy light and suuuuper high stiffness) stems :)

I ordered and have been using the Sub4 34.9mm seatpost clamp and it works great. I have broken a couple of New Ultimate clamps and still have two in service. When they go it's more Sub 4 time. No scale shot but it did weight 3.9 grams on my scale.

I stopped using Darimo components when I found there were more risks/issues than it was worth. I guess I forgot I was still using their yokes on another seatpost -

sheared in half - I'm not that heavy either (66kg).

13 miles home with my saddle in my pocket and saddle bag strapped to my handlebars. There are worse things.

Yoke's on me?

Well, it's not just Darimo. You may aswell say MCFK and Extralite to. Some would probably have something on Ax Lightness to.
Bikes:

Ax Lightness Vial EVO Race (2019.01.03)
Open *UP* (2016.04.14)
Paduano Racing Fidia (kind of shelved)

I know - sample of one. However - I've had ax-lightness and mcfk seatposts and never had an issue with theirs and I had the mcfk posts far longer than I was using this.

I got a Hylix seatpost for my other half's Liv. It's under 100g. Let's see how long it lasts before she has to walk home. :D

Those will probably be fine. They're not hollowed out to save every last gram.

Appreciate your assurance. The Hylix seatpost looks like a great product, much better value than some of the brands listed a few posts ago.

I had a Hylix on my Evo. It cracked after a month or so. No idea why, no impacts/potholes etc. I got myself a T1 instead. Which later was complemented by a Nexum. No issues whatsoever with any of those.

I have a feeling that if you over torque that part...it adds undue stress on the yoke...thus, making it more prone to failure.

With a Darimo yoke on my T2 seatpost, I torque to 4nm and seems to work just fine with no issues...so far.

I bought a Hylix seatpost for my TCX last year. Snapped at the frame after a few months when going over a small depression. Wasn't over-tightened, the thing just wasn't strong enough to bear my 70 kg. I was lucky enough to walk home, and I hope your other half is too.
