Both my lbs mechanic and I sweated a bit too making it go onto the bars. Perhaps you can video the attempt - to either show them it's impossible or that you tried doing it the right way and it didn't worked (especially if something unfortunate happened )

Raceware mounts have been solid for me.
Thanks, I'll be ordering one of these.

I certainly did especially as my rear DI2 cable goes through up my fork and through the stem. Try sliding on the bars as well as a cable and lining up the holes to thread the cable through. Bloody nightmare.
I learnt my lesson after two bikes and got the Darimo stem with removable face plate for my C64 build. Ain't going through that process again.

I'm guessing that frame has some type of steerer lock? Assuming that's what the bolt behind the steerer is - would make a mess if not!

Stem looks cool too, wonder if we'll see Alu road parts?

Yep, looks like a Top Fuel with the Knockblock?

I do not know what Darimo is doing with their aluminum stem but I would clearly prefer the extralite one. Extralite has improved many times their CNC machined stem and they have years of experience.

Or... they simply propose the aluminum stem for "strange geometry" bikes

Not keen on those at all. Obviously no idea how it is on this Darimo, but Extralite stems have tiny contact area at the front with the steerer. Not good on any carbon steerer ... which is virtually all of them.

Without reading this whole thread. There are many Darimo seat posts on Ebay that are coming out of Hong Kong. I assume they are fakes? Appear like or close to the real product.
