7) I said road bike rear tires don't give much in the way of feedback under straightline braking, they also don't modulate. There's no weight to them, they are rigid when inflated, they are mounted rigidly - they don't slide, they breakaway abruptly.
Thanks for a very informative post. I couldn't agree more with your point 7; in my experience road tyres on tarmac give no warning at all that they're about to lose traction.

MTB <-- alot (SRAM guide RS, Shimano XTR, Shimano Saint)
Road <- only once (shimano CX77 [cable disc brake])

PS: i dont like the hydraulic hood design from the big threes so i stuck with cable disc brake. it's an improvement over rim brake but not overly so.
The latest di2 hydraulic hoods are more or less the same as normal ones, I expect the next iteration of eTap and EPS will follow suit. Mechanical shifting.. I don't think it's possible for them to get any smaller :x
let's hope that's the case! my hands aren't getting any bigger! lol :beerchug:
Some say pour 10ml water out of your bottle to save that last bit of the weight. Sorry, i go one step further, i tend to the rider off my bikes.
n+1...14 last time i checked, but i lost count
