How is it an FU to Specialized? Guess it's the same to Schwalbe being he worked there after them or perhaps Conti too? The people involved completed their contracts and moved on to their own project, not at all uncommon. Unless you have the muppet attitude that the BigS is the most evil corporation in the world tricking their engineers into having substantial R&D budgets to advance their ideas....

I think the fact that so many ex Specialized engineers can create their own brands/products is testiment to the organisation.

Having the same people doing the same thing over and over is the worst thing that can happen to any organisation.
If they are able to join, learn and expand on their knowledge and capabilities to a level where they can take on their own business then that is something to be applauded.

Have not heard any ex Specialized engineers come out and bad mouth them..
