I like the 11-93 more. cheaper and it seems to last as long. I have ripped SL chains apart when riding and they were not even worn.

My one 11.93 rusted on every link after a couple weeks of indoor trainer usage. None of my other chains have ever done this...not my X11SLs, PC-1170s, Red 22s, HG-901s, Campy Records, YBN SLA110s, Wipperman 11SX/SBs, etc.

I got 4k+ miles out of a KMCSL chain before.. then all of a sudden it was horrible.. so I change them @ 3.5k

Expensive compared to Dura Ace here in the U.S. Dura Ace is $37 including a quick link. KMC costs way more.

I just bought pyc after using lots of kmc in the past... Nothing to do with kmc, it's just cheaper on ebay and maybe lighter too. Image

I ride in all weathers with salt on the road in winter and rust is only an issue if I fail to relube after a wet ride where salt will be on the road. i,e if i take of the chain it does not rust.

So you can save money with TLC or spend more so your salty sweat does not cause corrosion.

If I leave any chain for 4000km my cassette is trashed and a new chain will skip skip skip. I have bent the KMC SL chains before or ripped them apart but not the 11-93 on the same bikes. Campagnolo record last well enough but are all worn by 2000-2500km so that why i go with cheap chains.
