Hi does anyone know of an out front computer mount that would fit onto the bolts of the Extralite Hyperstem? If not what is the lightest handlebar mount?

The hyperstem has been machined to f#%k and uses special milled out ti bolts- no way I’d try a faceplate style mount.

Werking can do a custom carbon handlebar mount- I’ll weigh it tonight.

carbonworks has one at 16g if you use garmin. just measure your bolt spacing.

I emailed them about this and got zero response. Exact same question as OP.

Ok looks like a stem face plate bolt style mount is not a good idea. How bout regular handlebar out front mount?

Hi thanks. Ordered one! By chance do you know if the Garmin 520 can be placed in the middle with the Extralite stem which seems to be on the wider spectrum with this mount? As in.. not too much to the right.

not using a Hyperstem atm but I have one lying around and when I place it ontop of my current stem and give it the eye test it looks spot on to me (the mount being in line with the stem when it's flush with the stem clamp)

I can't imagine the hyperstem being much wider in width at the face plate area compared to the Kalloy stem to shift the garmin off centre. It's a really nice mount and places the unit level with the stem height, and that is reason enough to use it.

Please DO NOT get the mount for 520/1000 when you shop at the site; as you can see here there's adequate space for you to access the bottom buttons on the standard mount for 510. Using the longer 520/1000 mount will result in an obscene gap between the unit and the stem which is unacceptable to me. Image

Got the Raceware installed. The computer was a little crooked so i had to put some double sided tape on top left and bottom right between bar and mount to straighten it.

Why not the little plastic ring mount that comes with a Garmin? Seems the lightest and you already own it. Why the love for the out front mounts? They look geeky to me.

I like to wrap my hand around the big black stem.
