Really nice review, great to read about its details. Makes me really tempted to get one just for the larger too surface and 10g savings over my haero bars!

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you like the Haero bars? I have been thinking of getting their TT offering for my tri bike.

Haero bars have been great, they have a shorter reach and narrower tops than this, but no concerns durability or stiffness wise from a lightweight rider.

Just got my Haero Carbon H145RR SL, 44cm version is 41.6cm C-C over hoods.
About 43.5cm C-C at bar plugs holes. 152 grams.
I'm glad i bought this bar, very comfortable.

BTW, the 42cm version is 39.6cm C-C over hoods.

Agree. Very stiff. Fat tops but comfy. 148g in 42cm for me. Decals come off w acetone if you don't like branding.
So any long term thoughts on these bars? Are people still using them? I'm getting some new bars for my slr01 disc and tossing up between the ulna.. or the schmolke/enve compact/mcfk... I'm 75kg and mainly just want them not to feel too much flex when climbing out of the saddle, not so worried about sprinting.

darimo.. just worried about it being too fragile - silly I know...
mcfk - not too sure about the curve in the bars
schmolke - reasonable alternative.. eseically without the flare..
enve compact - per bike fitter.. said they are steady reliable bars (bit heavy for the price)

Also, does anyone know if the little integrated computer mounts, such as the one that comes with the BMC will affect the clamping area with carbon bars? I noticed some pros use a k-edge mount, instead of using that little integrated clamp that fits between the stem faceplate... given what i've read on here about compressing the bars i'm slightly concerned!

I still love my Ulna. It is stiff and looks great. I’m using a K-Edge mount.

Carbonworks were kind enough to measure the distance between centre of cradle and stem plate for me a few weeks ago. Image

I have the mount but I haven't installed it yet. When I have I'll take some pics with the element roam and bolt attached.

Good job Simon with the video, perfect English, and great explanation of the installation and options. Looks like a great product.
