Hi all
In my eternal hunt for N+1 I have come across a good offer on a NOS Specialized Venge Elite (Fact 10R) frameset from 2016. I have been looking at this on and off for almost a year now and it'd be fun to try something aero as opposed to what I usually go for.
I have read a lot of good things about this frameset/bike but also , albeit predominantly in the always laboratory heavy German reviews, that it is lacking a bit stiffness in the headtube. Ideally I'd testride a bike, but that is not an option.
My and my question is to anyone with real-life experience if this is only a theoretical thing or if there is anything to it, i.e. does it track and corner precisely or is adjustments mid-way needed etc.?
My frame size would be 56cm and for comparison I have owned a Tarmac Pro, Allez E5 smartweld, Bianchi Sempre, KTM Revelator and now a Cube Litening, which have all been fine in terms of stiffness.
Any input and experience with the Venge would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
