Hey guys!I bought by mistake a sram red gxp(had in mind bb30) crankset and then i bought the adapters 68-73.When i press the crankset it stay fit but when i try to really push by pedalling it moves, its not fit at all.I have a set of sram washers recived with my sram gxp bought from ebay made of 2 dust washers made of alu and red rubber and a wave washer i dont know what's the right name for this. The diameter its 24 also as a BSA i think.Do you think it need to be a spacer on the non drive side?Like a 2mm ?If yes, shimano its compatible it needs to be from plastic?I would appreciate any fast advice!Down are some pics!

Your question is not very coherent, which exact parts are you trying to combine? My guess is you're trying to install a GXP crankset with just a stepdown adapter from 30 to 24 mm, which is not going to work well as the GXP non-driveside is 22 mm.

How about doing an ounce of research before buying components? I don’t know if you bought a set of straight 24mm cups or one with the NDS shimmed down to 22mm, but in most cases GXP cranks adapted to BB30/PF30 also require some amount of additional spacers to remove lateral play. The exact number depends on you particular setup. BB30 SRAM cranks would just use a preload adjuster dial on the NDS...

As others have noted, assuming that your non drive side bearing is 22mm instead of 24mm, or you have a chis king style sleeve that fits over the non drive side spindle to shim it up to 24mm, which you probably dont, so start there. The orange/redish rubberized washers in your photo are weather seals for a Shimano bottom bracket. If everything else above is correct, start with the wavy washer on the non drive side. If that does not remove the play add the clear plastic spacers one at a time to the non drive side to start with unless you develop a chainline issue......then add the clear spacers to the drive side. Your first order of business is to confirm that your non drive side bearing is 22mm.

Doesn't the wave washer go on the drive side for GXP cranks? With the proper 22mm NDS bearing, the bearing is pretty much fixed to the crankset, so there's nothing for a wave washer to do on the NDS. The DS bearing is normally free floating, and the wave washer prevents bearing drift.wheelbuilder wrote: ↑Sat Apr 28, 2018 11:46 pmIf everything else above is correct, start with the wavy washer on the non drive side.

I think the wave washer is just there to lightly press the dust cover to the DS bearing...

I bought a new frame and recived the bb as a gift... I wasnt sure about it but the mechanic i went to press it just install it after i put my bike in the car and the next day i try to ride it and realise it's not ok the NDS...on the DS it's 24 it fits right in the hole ...NDS spindle its definetly smaller but the bearing its 24 because it moves up and down. As long as a mevganic with over 10yrs experience haven"t saw that it's sad. I just gave him all these to place them so he did with no other question or told me anything its wrong. The frame original specification said bb30... I m sorry but now i know what i need and thank you guys. Btw do you think that ant need any wave washers or spacers? If yes a quick link can save me again.

If there already is a set of BB30 bearngs installed, this wil probably work.
You can order from ebay in the US as well. I live in Holland and often use ebay.com for purchases.
