di2 rear derailleur question?
Moderator: robbosmans
Sorry this maybe a dumb question but I received my 8050 rear derailleur and looking it over I moved it to the lowest gear and it wont release from there, how do I get it to go back down? I don't have any of the other parts yet so is there some sort of release or do I have to wait until the shifters and battery come?

It's generally not a good idea to move a DI2 derr manually. At a minimum, you are going to need to connect the battery and the shifters to get it into crash protection/restoration mode which might set it right.

Wait till the shifters and junction A and the rest come. It will go back. As Bda said, resist temptation to move it around as there is no spring to return it like you are probably used to.
