On a BB386evo frame I had to use the longer axle—the shorter one didn't have enough on the NDS after adding 3mm spacers for the spider to clear the frame. BB is a Token Ninja screw-together.

According to T*red which usually spec their bikes with Rotor + AXS, they use the standard version. I asked because i contemplated Rotor.
But in the end i went with the standard RED AXS crankset.
But you can always send Boris the question.

I went with the standard axle. Rotor support said that both the standard and offset axle will work but they've seen better shifting with the standard.

I also spoke with a few people who were running Rotor cranksets with AXS and they said the chainline did not cause an issue so all that is left is for me to see it myself.

I wanted the RED AXS Crankset too because I'm able to acquire a power meter version for almost half the price but SRAM cranksets with the exception of Rival are not able to meet my bike fit. I got the Rotor crank because of the length options they provide.

That make sense! I had in mind going for 167.5mm crank, but got 170mm. I'm not even sure 165mm is available in Europe (RED AXS).

Goy myself a very nice looking Rotor Aldhu crank set.

Somehow the power of my Favero Assioma's reads much lower than on my gravel bike / indoor bike. Set-up the crank length correctly, calibrated several times. But every ride the power numbers are just low (like 20 watts lower average than all my recent similar rides). Swapped the Assiomas to my gravel bike the same day, and numbers made sense again.

What the hell can cause this??

Maybe the distance between the PM and crank arm ? Do you use any pedal spindle spacers Usually ?
Maybe the difference in feet width makes this power difference...

Louis :)

I also use Favero on my Aldhu and no problem at all.

Hmm okay, I'll do some further digging. On another forum someone floated the idea that the Assioma pod might touch the Rotor crank. I'll look into that and try a spacer to see if this helps.

You will definetly need a washer for your Assioma pedals using Aldhu cranks otherwise the pod will touch the arms under load.

This is the definite answer. I also found that assioma on aldhu requires 1 more(2in total) washer for clearance.

I use the shims between crank arms and pedals because it seems like they would touch on the Rotor Aldhu (not the case with my Ultegra R8000 and GRX810 cranks). Perhaps they are for you as well and they're pressing against the pod?

The right to bear arms is slightly less ludicrous than the right to arm bears. (Chris Addison)

My Assioma Duo's definately DON'T need washers between them and the Aldhu cranks :noidea:

Gang, I am mulling the idea of getting an ALDHU crankset and round chainrings on my bike (prefer a 48/32 to maintain high rpm when climbing which suits me better). Apart from 24mm spindle, crankarms and one-piece direct mount chainring set, is there any other part I need to buy to replace my Ultegra 2x11 crankset and start riding? Did I forget anything (eg bolts, washers, etc)?

Crankarms
Axle
When used direct mount chainrings no additional parts are necessary.
