As the title says I want to upgrade my 17 Argon 18 Galium. Im torn between going di2 (Ultegra 6800) or a new set of hoops.
Currently the bike has mech ultegra 6800 and American Classic victory 30 wheels.
The wheels I have in mind are farsport tubs with carbon it hubs.
Thanks

Heavy 95 kilos, FTP is at somewhere 350 watts, drop saddle to handle bar 12 cm so not extreme and but not related either.
I had previously dura ace di2 and I enjoyed the maintenance free feel to it. I love to have a light but I don't need a light one as I'm a heavy chaps.

I would go Di2 personally. Electronic groupsets make riding so much more enjoyable.

Your price range would cover several Gran Fondo or century entries-components come and go but memories last until Alzheimer's take them away.
Maybe wheels or something like carbon integrated handlebars/stem (if your fit is dialed in). The feel is great.
How about some slightly deeper/wider toroidal rims to help you on the flats/descents, and slap 25/28c tires on that grow to 27/30 and improve comfort+speed(on bumpier roads).
As you said, chasing low weight won't do much at 95kg.
New helmet?
Bigger cassette for climbing?
New tires with low rolling resistance?
Di2 upgrade?
