I'm looking at getting Power2Max NGeco and am having difficulty deciding which rings I should attach. I'm currently running Udi2 6800 with a 50/34. I can get the P2M with the Shimano spider and run my Ultegra rings, but I'm intrigued by the flexibility offered by the P2M with the standard 110 BCD spider, in which case I can run FSA, Praxis or Rotor rings. In particular, I'm considering getting the FSA Super 48t ring. Can anyone offer any guidance in how the FSA Super rings compare to Ultegra rings? Is the shifting close? Thanks.

I'd also appreciate hearing opinions about Stronglight CT2 rings.

I used to run my P2M with FSA Super rings and UDi2 6870 - definitely not as good as the Ultegra ones. Now using a Quarq DFour with the Ultegra rings and things are much better.

I've heard really good things about Praxis Works rings if you're looking for something with a 5-bolt pattern? I think P2M offer them as an upgrade to their power meters too.

There's such a mix of opinions on the different brands of chainrings, but in general, never really hear people say shimano ultegra or DA rings are horrible. Praxis range from horrible to 'as good as shimano', sram and FSA... . mixed reviews too

It's interesting that experiences with Praxis vary so widely. In any case, thank you all for your responses. I may try the FSA Super rings.
