I’m building a new Giant TCR sl disc and can’t decide what stem to use. The new more aero but boxy looking flux or the traditional SLR. What does everyone think?

SLR I think looks better on a traditional frame. Boxy one for an aero build.

For a TCR then the SLR out of those two for sure. Otherwise the Ritchey Superlogic in 1.25" looks good on that frame.

I find it hard to believe that just the stem can make such a great aero difference, and IMO the first one looks dopey on climbing bikes.
