Since you're an expert, what do you think of the same components in a 53/54 would weigh? The difference would be Di2 9070 from the Orbea or eTap, Rotor Uno cassette, TLO bars, THM Tibia, Red cranks and maybe Roval CLX 32's(gotta keep the LW's on the current build).

Yep, not all that uncommon with 11 speed, all my bikes have Shimano hubs, can't get the Camy to play fair with my preferred SRAM XG cassettes, works just fine [for me anyway] with the DA's.

Expert :? Hah, no way. Weights??, your guess is as good as mine. The only thing in common with your "possible" list and mine is we are both starting with a Pina F8 and then the sizes are different anyway.

After building the Wilier, I said no more piecemeal. I'm contemplating again.

This is worse than being an Audiophile(don't ask how I know)!

@ tabl110s I am hoping to put my F8 on a diet as well after 4 years of owning. I'd love to see build list since you are down 13lbs  Thanks!

Impressive! Well-done.

I incorrectly guessed to myself the lightest F8 would be in the Colnago range...

What color is the frame? I believe there is a significant weight difference between a matte carbon frame and a painted frame, white being the heaviest.

It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

Mine is matte and it's now heavier as I've switched from a WW build to aero.
