for WW build. Received Schmolke TLO today and forgot no chain had been purchased. Have saddle(Selle Italia C-59)& cassette(Rotor Uno).

I'm curious to see what the weight will be on the new bike.

I saw somewhere the lightest steel chain is the PYC SP1101 @ 225gr 116l.

I think KMC and other manufacturer's lightest steel 11s chains are around 10-20gr heavier @116l.

There are titanium chains too but they are just 20gr lighter @205gr.

Someone else might be able to give you better options.

I recently weighed 4 chains all broken to 110 links:

Campagnolo Record = 229g (extrapolated 241g per 116l)
Yaban SLA110 = 237g (250g)
SRAM PC-1170 = 239g (252g)
Wippermann 11SX = 251g (265g)

The Campy and Yaban chains are 5.5mm wide, while the SRAM and Wippermann are 5.62mm.

Another member has Shimano with the Campy chain. I wonder if it can be used with eTap?

PYC chain 11 speed, weighing was just done yesterday. Have no idea how many links cos the packaging didn't state it, but it came in its original packaging and isn't an oem item without packaging so I would assume it's a 116 link one. Bought from ebay, cheaper and lighter than KMC.

I just put one of the PYC SP1101 (same as in the pic above except mine is silver) on my bike. It weighs 227 grams at 116 links. I don’t have many rides on it, but it shifts as well as the Ultegra chain I had before. And saved about 30 grams after cutting it to size.
