12 speed record ergo, cassette 11-32, chain, front and rear derailleur. 11 speed over torque crankset 50-34. On a look 595 ultra medium with 405mm chainstays
I use "11 speed over torque crankset 50-34" too, but with SR11.
Can I use 12 speed chain on it?
Yes. I’ve had no problems but the rest of my setup is 12 speed. Wouldn’t think a 12 chain on 11 cassette would be any benefit.. just saved my buying a new record 12 crankset.

New EPS has been projected for NOV18. However, it's more a wait and see. Imagry has not even been provided to companies looking to spec it yet.
What projection? Announcement date, you meant? Or the date Campy will begin shipping it to distributors?
Supposedly shipping to distributors. However, the closer we get to this, the more 2 x distributors are right now unsure if it will manifest itself as such.

I thought it had been said in earlier posts that it's unlikely we'll see eps on sale until 2019 and likely the early spring Feb/March time

Campy USA told me 2019 was the plan... you'd think if it was shipping to distributors they would have released something by now.. it was about 2-3+ months before the 12 mech became available in most combos after the announcement...

I am waiting patiently,i have the chainset,cassette,brakes.
I want eps rather than mechanical but i need to see what the charge port will be,as if its like di2 in the bar end i cant have it as i have the most talon bars and they are sealed at the ends,or will there be 2 port option.
Colnago arabesque campagnolo super record 12
Colnago c64
Cinelli zydeco grx di2

Id think there will be 2 options.. they realize stuff like this exists.. Im curious what will happen as well since I will be routing a new Venge frameset with EPS once I get it / EPS 12 is released...

As I wait for EPS 12 as well can I use the SR 12s crankset with an 11S EPS group ? Is it better to use an 11s or 12s chain in this case ?

For those interested, technical manual for 12s cassettes has been recently published: https://www.campagnolo.com/media/files/ ... 18_ENG.pdf

now we have 12s spacing all manufacturers

3,54 mm (cog center to center) - campagnolo (1/11)*(40,4-1,5) or (1/11)*(40,4-1,4)
3,55 mm (cog center to center) - shimano (mtb)
3,65 mm (cog center to center) - sram (mtb)

I'm waiting too. I was told shipping in January (from Italy) and available late Feb or early March. That being the case, I suppose a December/January announcement is more or less on track.

Would make sense... Surely the guys at Tour down Under will be on it.. Hopefully the 12 speed labelling on the crank will be decided by then as well.. or just remove it period for a generic crank if in fact there is no new design...

Hey everyone, I've followed this thread for quite a while. Just listening to the Cycling Tips podcast, it seems like James is in the Canary islands and couldn't/didn't reveal why he was there. Probably a good indication of an imminent EPS release.
Regards
HH
Edit: False alarm, I just saw he was there for the release of the new Conti tyres

I noticed today that Recon has listed a Campy 12 cassette option. Hope they soon offer a 12 - 27...........in titanium.

Hello, any idea if the cult bearings of the SR 12 crankset could fit (as a replacement) on the Record 12 ?

Personnally I'd enjoy a 13-32, much more suitable to my abilities/needs
