+1 Yeah it's at least 3rd time gearing is being extensively discussed here - without any conclusion anyway. It's been beaten to death really and you still keep digging this one out. Perhaps you like to keep this zombie around way too much? :-D If so, create your own zombie thread and have some fun over there.

Neeb and Wingguy, cut the thread cluttering circle jerk crap or you can both have a fortnight off.

Totally agree - pointless and undoubtedly ill-informed.

I guess the most informed response taking their own logic would be that If Tony Martin can do a long TT on a rolling course with an 1x and an 11-36 casette then the Cadence jump queens need to get a life.

OK, look - the dialogue got personal and a bit out of hand - for my part in that I apologise. It happens. But if I'm no longer allowed to defend my position I'd appreciate it if the mods at least would lay off.

And for once I'll defend wingman - the cadence thing was my position, not his.

Laying in would have been a month for both of you. Pointing out your stupidity was simply highlighting the stupid from both of you.

Wingguy has just been true to form and relentlessly pursued an argument well beyond its expiration and will no doubt slide into the old DMs later to sook that he was right blah blah....Image

Sounds like my position was your position though.

Not a huge surprise you didn't get that - it seems like the only reason you ever comment here is to insult people instead of attempting to contribute :noidea:

Soooo....

Not a fan of the aesthetics of the new 12sp rear mech, but I reckon it looks much better the other way around:

My position did match yours, the way you go about it is what I and many others take issue with.

Except for yours, of course.

Not sure why else you'd still be moaning about the fact that you once received a question via PM...

Lol, of course - nothing says 'I don't care' like having a whinge out of the blue about something that came and went monts ago.

I totally agree. It’s ugly as hell. Shocked Campy blew it. The whole 12 speed thing is stupid IMO. They should have released as sweet new pedal.
