The set is meant to be a replacement set so it contains only cables, housings and end caps - things that wear out more often etc.
The tension adjuster is included in the complete levers packaging and shouldn't normally require replacing like cables do. And although it's recommended, it's possible to live without it. The initial setup is more fiddly, but once you get it right you're fine (I didn't really need to use the adjuster after the initial setup).

And yes the set clearly counts with the internal cable routing so the included housings are on the short side: 32 and 68 cm.

The adjuster is part of the Ergo set (which happens to include cables), but not part of the replacement cable set. Presumably because the adjuster does not need replacement. At least not for wear, because oh my god is it heavy. And I have little success operating it with one hand (I'm one of those who like to tweak on the go).

I have a cheap third party adjuster (BBB or something like that) on the cable to the rear derailleur and I am far more happy with that. When it's time for the front cable to get replaced the campagnolo impurity level of that build will rise a little (third party adjuster came in a set of two).

The campagnolo inline adjuster is by the far the easiest one to use i have used.

If you can afford 12 speed dont cheap out on the spares.

Pictures for reference. Has anyone else experienced a failed front derailleur? Does Campy warranty such defects?
I had exact same issue as have others. Known problem. Yes Campy warranted but I just bought a new one and then went thru the 4 week process.

Had the FD snap in same way on 11v.

Bought new and replaced within 24hrs.

Waiting for warranty for weeks is nonsense.

If you deal with a shop that is a service centre it’s a lot quicker.

I appreciate you guys relaying your experience. It seemed like such a random failure I didn't know whether it was worth it. It always seems hard to me to "prove" it failed naturally and not to abuse. And all I care about is just getting riding again. Hopefully new FD shows up tomorrow.

Hi,

A question regarding the rear derailer on the eps 12 speed. Is it possible to turn that "mesh nob" to the left a bit? I think it's too much outwards. The Eps cable is pointing way too much to the right. Is it just me or? I remember on my eps 11 speed; it was more aligned.

That color is just beautiful (same with frozen blue). Big fan of these new splash/textured paints on bikes.

My mind somehow got into silly project mode for converting my Record mechanical derailleur to direct mount. The closest thing to a reason for that that I can reconstruct is the observation that apparently, there is not a single picture available on the entirety of the internet (well, on Google image search) of a Campagnolo derailleur in direct mount mode. Other than drawings in the manual, which only adds to the appeal.

"Silly project mode" wasn't all that bad before I discovered the Sigeyi hangers apparently fitting the frame (2nd gen Aeroad), now project mode has become really bad. RD-SR105 which contains the DM version of the B screw seems to be incredibly rare (and therefore expensive even for Campag spares, and the screw is weird enough to not go with third party material) and I see zero objective reason to convert. Did anyone here already do it? Are there pictures? They might cure project mode, or make it worse.

Crazy that the direct mount screws dont come with RD and are seperate...i bought off glory cycles but opted not to use after someone's front wheel came into contact with my RD causing hanger to be bent..had to replace hanger...not sure if direct mount would have made something like that worse..

Sigeyi direct mount hanger on a Canyon Ultimate Evo. Shifting performance slightly worse, I go back to the original hanger.
