The brakes aren’t the limiting factor on that frame. The tires will hit the underside of the fork crown and the rear brake bridge before they touch the brakes.

We had the sam eissue with som ebuilds and contacted Campagnolo.
you have to plat with the small adjusting screw on the side...Strangely the cliper gets itself into another position andgives more clearance.

Previous page pics shows DT Swiss RR440 with Michelin Power Comp 25mm. After posting I also received new Boras (old broken in accident) and with dry mounted Vittoria Corsa 25 clearance looks OK, but the 27mm Vlaanderen (attached below) are a no go with this fork. Top clearance varies from almost nothing to 1mm, so about 1-2mm *less* than with the 2015 Record brakes which were totaly usable apart from ocassional noises when small stuff got caught in...

Compared to the old ones, they are a few grams lighter. Both bolts are a few mm loger, so for the fork I had to use a shorter nut than before. Upper parts of the arms are a bit stiffer (as their new look suggest) but the lower parts (where shoes are bolted) still flex a little so it is not exactly Shimano dead like. Spring looks the same but feels a bit stiffer/snappier, maybe old ones are a bit tired. Lever feel is nice and crisp. Will report in a few days once I giove them a proper test on the road.

Another big let down is the barrel adjuster. It is very hard and gritty to turn. I have to close the caliper to release tension, then it turns about OK, otherwise it is horrible. With the old Record (or Athenas) I could turn it nice and easy.

Looks are much stealthier than old ones, with several parts now in black instead of bare alu and darker logos.
Acoording to the Campagnolo website the new calipers are heavier than the old ones, no?
Regarding the clearance, wa had the same issue. You have to play with the small nut at the side of the brakearms.

Not a rotor Q ring, but I'll be trialing this setup. Have tested to intentionally overthrow the chain on a bike stand with no issues.

note; the RD mech shifting is just damn good.
What chainring are you using? probably your chainrings are also suppose to work with 11spd?
I have Rotor crank too with Rotor q-rings. So noq or q might be no issues but will 11 or 12 spd be an issue?
I've contacted rotor.
According to the the new cranks with direct-mount chainrings are 12 and 13 speed compatible.

The spring tensioner? Or the centering one, and you skewed the entire thing to the side?

The measured "width" of a mounted tyre has nothing to do with the "c" measurement. This is a common misconception but if you consider it logically, you can see that it has to be so - take a mounting width of 15 mm and a mounting width of 19 mm and a tyre that from edge to edge when folded "flat" measures the same, it will adopt a radically different, flatter shape on the 19 mm mounting width (c19) than it will on the 15 mm (c15) rim.

That's part of the basis of the whole fatter-tyre / lower rolling resistance trope. It's not *only* the change in enclosed volume inside the tyre, it's also how the suidewalls, the rim and that increased volume interact.

You canmake two tyre cases exactly the same bead to bead width and apply a different tread to them and end up with two tyres that addopt a very different profile as well.

We unscrewed the centering bolt and placed an extra washer between the frame and the brakes.

Kinda stupid Q to the professionals in here:
Are these wonderful new cables and housings included with the complete (rim brake) groups?

Greame his what I say often, the size printed on the side wall is meaningless. Bead to bead distance, rim internal with and thread thickness determines overall tyre width, height and shape.

A full cable set has always come with the ergolevers in the past whether you buy them within a groupset or as a standalone item so I don't see why that would have changed and certainly with a full groupset it would include them.

Met with the Eastern N.A. campy rep today.

1. There is a duel sided stages power meter in development for 12s, no other company has contacted campy power meter wise but that doesn't necessarily mean they aren't in development

2. EPS is on route and will not be wiseless but should be more clean and easier to hide wires than the current version. Something interesting I didn't know, Shimano has some how managed to patent plugging a wire into a bicycle component. This was one of the major reasons etap went wireless and why campy is stuck using a wiring harness type idea.

3. Nothing really exciting happening wheel wise especially for disc as none of their pro teams have much demand for it.

4. Not sure about the fate of Corus, there is no scheduled release for a 12s upgrade but it's their best selling group worldwide so he imagines it'll get something. My theory is since they lowered MSRP on Sr and record they're waiting to see if sales shift

That's interesting info matty. Any idea if the existing V3 battery will be compatible with the new 12sp EPS? I have Record EPS on my Sunday best bike and would hope to upgrade to 12sp EPS but it would save a bit of spannering time (and moolah!) if the current battery didn't have to be removed.
