Still cheaper than most online stores. No? Some ask €3180.49 for the same groupset...

Going online in Canada for $4060 Cdn dollars, or about 2600 euro with the conversion... bike24 has the group listed at 2200 euro but that includes VAT.. take the VAT off and its $1200 cheaper for me to order in from Europe.. seems the 175 53X39 crank is not released.. and the 11-29 block is impossible to find at the moment...
Way cheaper... but Lordgun is not a cheap on-line site, more a kind of brick and mortar shop that happens to sell on line too.kgt wrote:Still cheaper than most online stores. No? Some ask €3180.49 for the same groupset...

Our local distributor has them so they really do exist.ParisCarbon wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 1:41 pmGoing online in Canada for $4060 Cdn dollars, or about 2600 euro with the conversion... bike24 has the group listed at 2200 euro but that includes VAT.. take the VAT off and its $1200 cheaper for me to order in from Europe.. seems the 175 53X39 crank is not released.. and the 11-29 block is impossible to find at the moment...
If you'd really want it very much I could buy one and post it to you, but that would be more expensive as the price would include the VAT etc.

The crank or the cassette? I saw a few random 175 cranks online, but the 11-29 either sold out immediately or its not out there yet.. Im in no HUGE rush.. Im waiting for EPS 12... Id like the 12 Mech for my Cannondale, but then I need to dump my Cannondale SRM 11s and goto a pedal system... decisions... decisions...mag wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 9:09 pmOur local distributor has them so they really do exist.ParisCarbon wrote: ↑Fri Jun 22, 2018 1:41 pmGoing online in Canada for $4060 Cdn dollars, or about 2600 euro with the conversion... bike24 has the group listed at 2200 euro but that includes VAT.. take the VAT off and its $1200 cheaper for me to order in from Europe.. seems the 175 53X39 crank is not released.. and the 11-29 block is impossible to find at the moment...

I meant the cassette. As for the crank, they don't have those you're after - the stocks are quite limited everywhere it may be really hard to put together all you need. But by the time EPS is out it should be better. I was told that the availability of most components should improve a lot by the end of the August or more likely by September. Then you'll "only" need to get the EPS-specific parts.
Dropped by La Bicicletta in Toronto and the owner's bike with Super Record 12 was on a workstand. Took some pictures for those that haven't had the chance to see it in the flesh.

A few observations:
Design wise, they are going more angular, except for the crank which has fewer sharp lines. I like it better than the previous 4 arm cranks. The spider arms feel a bit thinner than the previous ones as well.
The stiffening bridge on the crank does not have additional bolts to attach to the rings. There are some notches in the bridge, so maybe there is some mechanical interface.
The rear derailleur looks pretty good in person.
The thumb button is very easy to reach from the drops.
Shifts still feel like campagnolo, lots of tactile feedback.

Agree that most picture look bad and it looks better than in real life. But is it worth the price and weight difference with 9100 or 11sp SR?
I still think it's overpriced, too heavy, always starting with a (for most people) useless 11 and unneccesary. My 2 cents.

So Ribble are showing these complete SR bikes in stock at £6k whereas the equivalent Dura ace build is coming up around £3.4k

Those brakes are actually chorus/potenza DM brakes from 2016-2017.AC0 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 24, 2018 4:27 amDropped by La Bicicletta in Toronto and the owner's bike with Super Record 12 was on a workstand. Took some pictures for those that haven't had the chance to see it in the flesh.
