Pretty sure that combo will not work, sadly.

Have you read the manual?V3Rs wrote:Can someone carefully explain what the sequential shifting mode actually is?

I googled EPS sequential shifting and got nothing... thanks for the download-
The tranlation is crude... so I have a few questions if you don't mind...
Is it possible to basically move up and down the 24 speeds in a purely numerical/ratio sense?
Meaning that the left lever is not used at all and all shifting, which would be step by step, is handled by the right lever?
I suppose one would not want to include small/small and big/big in that sequence and could that be "unselected"?
Also at some point in a climbing situation, one would not want the front derailleur to be activated and I assume that
those gear combos could also be unselected?
Does anyone use this option?

The translation isn’t in idiomatic English but perfectly understandable.V3Rs wrote:I googled EPS sequential shifting and got nothing... thanks for the download-

The EPS syncro shift isn’t as sophisticated as Di2 but, having used both EPS & Di2 I think it’s a pointless option.
Seems to me you have a range of sprockets that you can set as the shift point, depending on which combination of chainrings & cassette you have. The left lever is not disabled, allowing you to override the front chainring choice at will.

Wish I could get an answer to my questions...

Bottom of the page you’ll find English, Italian, German, French & Spanish manuals for sequential shift.

I quickly read that document [and thanks for posting the link, ultimobici] and I think it does answer most of your questions. Not directly, but indirectly. It shows what options can be set.V3Rs wrote: ↑Fri Oct 14, 2022 1:39 pm

It appears all your questions seem to be answered with a quick, no, since none of those options are available. I did not read it throughly.
I have yet to install my EPS12 but I am curious if this sequential shifting is as good as it appears on paper. As of yet, I have not heard anyone is happy with it. I hope to have personal experience with it someday, before 13 speed comes out.

True. I don’t. I’ve only sold them for a couple of years. How am I being difficult? It’s pretty simple to understand. You may have to use a gear calculator to suss out the best pattern to select, but unless your first language is something other than the ones Campagnolo offers the manual in I’m at a loss as to how it is that confusing.V3Rs wrote:Ulti- you obviously do not own a 12EPS gruppo... or you are just being as difficult as possible....
Where is Calnago when you need him?
So what exactly can it do?
Sadly Calnago passed away a little over a year ago.

Please keep this conversation to the correct spirit of campagnolo and not bring it down to the level of discussion like those Shimano fan boys do
