I want to switch my 12s Record crankset to a Super Record one. My question is do I need to switch the Bearing Cups too? For OC12-REI to OC12-SRI?
I need the threaded ITA version for my Dogma. Do you think my OC12-REI is compatible to the Super Record Crankset too? Because I can't find for sale any OC12-SRI cups for sale... (in the EU) Or if you know somewhere for slae the OC12-SRI I would appreciate it!

Functionally, the cups are the same with the exception that the Records have an added dust seal inside them.......that seal can be removed if desired. (and SR are black)

I have a question about the chorus 12s group handles. I am wondering about the bike on cantilever brakes. Once upon a time Campagnolo produced cantilever brakes, And now with which brakes to combine Chorus levers?
I am considering brakes from Avid, do you have any other suggestions and experiences?

Any cyclocross cantis should be designed with road levers in mind. Mini-v brakes should be fine too, but not full-size ones since they need more cable pull.

As said - the pull is key. I am not sure where Campy stands. I know Sram has less cable brake pull than Shimano, so some canti/mini V that work well with Shimano may not do so with Sram.

The longer the brake arms the more pulls you will need. That might be a challenge with BMX mini Vs - I think they have longer arms for wider tyre clearance.

On Sram I use Paul Minimoto and it works well.

Seems there is not too much weight difference between 12sp Record and SR RD.

Is the hydraulic DB-141 caliper the correct # or is it DB-140? I saw reference here a couple pages back about someone being told to use the 141 caliper for the front fork on their Addict. I've been searching like crazy to buy a 140 so I can mount on the fork of my Parlee RZ7. I had incorrectly purchased a 160 flat mount, but that will not work. I need the 140 (or 141 if it exists) so I can run through bolts through the fork and directly tighten into the caliper. thanks.

141 and 161 calipers are new versions (introduced first with Ekar and since early 2021 used in all road groupsets) replacing 140 and 160.
They look slightly different so it's aesthetically better to match front with rear.
They're functionally compatible (except for the pad compatibility - the new ones can be only used with the newer DB-310 pads) and interchangeable with the old ones.

Almost ten percent off! (8%)

Scaled to bike size that's like going from 7.4 to 6.8.

Bummer. I already installed the R160 rear caliper. Based on the 141 pics, I could tell the appearance looked a bit different. Not sure I can live with that, but I also can't seem to find anyone with a 140, so might have to bite the bullet.

I am in the exact same situation here jzinckgra I the fact I could only get hold of eps with a 140 rear and 160 front. So I have one 140 new calliper and a 160 that is no use as I am the guy who runs the addict rc.
Local bike shop had a old style 140 calliper which I am going to use for now, but ideally I would like to be able to purchase a 140 in the new style so I can match them up

I've just noticed that my LEFT Chorus lever is boxed with a front caliper. I have the front brake on the right lever. Do I just swap the caliper with the the one in the RIGHT lever box? They are both 160 as no 140 avaialble.
